These are just some of the effects sugar can have on your body. Study after study has shown that overconsumption of sugar is detrimental to your health and well being.

Lemonade has a ton of sugar.  Consider that one teaspoon of sugar weighs 4 grams.  Now go look at that jar of lemonade and check the nutrition facts.  Sugar is listed in grams, so to convert the sugar content of your juice to teaspoons just divide the number by 4.  For example if there are 32 grams of sugar, 32/4 = 8 teaspoons of sugar in one 8 oz. cup of lemonade!
